Sierra + Alex’s Wedding at The Olana, Dallas
Sierra and Alex’s wedding at The Olana was intentional, lively, gorgeous, and completely their own. Sierra brought full princess energy and their friends showed up just as fashionable. The work Sierra + Alex put into planning their wedding paid off, and they left smiling, laughing and more in love.
Their vows were captivating and between their words you could hear the guests sniffling, tissues were definitely abundant. Sierra ended her vows with a question Alex asked when they were long distance, “What if it all works out?” and the room lost it in the best way possible.
Cocktail hour was its own vibe. You have the library which is dark and moody, but sophisticated. Across the hallway you have the drawing room, light, bright and elegant. Outside felt royal, the mansion steps being a backdrop for many guest photos. Everyone was talking to each other, meeting for the first or 100th time.
Dinner led to dancing and that’s where the party started. Their dance floor had a full-room energy where nobody was sitting on the sidelines. The live band played their set through dinner and into dancing and then they handed things off to the DJ and the afterparty took the whole night up another notch. Loud, joyful, completely unfiltered fun.
Sierra and Alex’s day was proof that a wedding can be polished and completely alive at the same time and we were so glad to be there documenting it.
Congratulations, you two, it all worked out.
