Kirsten and Cade’s story is rooted in intention, joy, and a deep love for the people who surround them. Their wedding day reflected exactly who they are. Relaxed, heartfelt, and full of life. Set against a mountain backdrop Kirsten has always loved, the celebration felt less like a formal event and more like hosting a joyful dinner party that seamlessly turned into a packed dance floor.
Family played a central role throughout the day. From Kirsten’s emotional first look with her dad to the quiet, in-between moments that unfolded naturally. Sweet glances, shared tears, and unspoken pride exchanged between their parents, her younger sister, and the couple themselves.
Kirsten wore a custom gown handmade by a close friend. A silk slip dress layered with a lace overlay that allowed for two distinct looks, perfectly embodying her desire for authenticity and ease. Florals leaned whimsical and textural, with airy Queen Anne’s lace nodding to her Michigan roots, blending springtime softness with the richness of fall. From personal vows to light-up cowboy hats on the dance floor, every detail centered on presence, fun, and love.
Above all, Kirsten and Cade wanted to remember how it felt. The laughter, the energy, and the overwhelming happiness of being fully surrounded by their people, exactly as they are.
